How to apply

You can either complete and return the application form by post, or you can now apply online.

Application by post

To apply, complete an application form (pdf: 8pgs, 135Kb; New Window) or you may request a prospectus to be posted to you. [new window]. You will find an application form stapled in the middle of the prospectus and submit it by post (not by fax) together with the fee, Fee slip (pdf: 1pg 16Kb) and the required documentary evidence as listed on page 7 of the form.

If you intend to sit your first examination in the year following your application, your application form must be received at the University by 17 September (for non-EU students) or 17 October (for EU students). Applications received after the deadline date will be kept on file and processed when the new Admissions year opens in January. Please note that the earlier in the year that you apply, the sooner the University will be able to process your application and give you a decision about your eligibility.

Important note: Applicants to the BA Spanish and Latin American studies are strongly advised to submit their application as early as possible and not wait until the deadline date as the first assessed assignment must be submitted by 15 January.

The University will acknowledge your application when they receive it and send you a student number. Then, as soon as they are able, will send you a decision.

If you are eligible, the University will send you an offer letter and you may register and begin studying. If you are not eligible the University will tell you what to do to become eligible.
